TWO THINGS YOU MUST DO BEFORE DIETING

How are you doing with ice cream, chocolate bars, alcohol consumption, fast food, microwave meals etc?
Or the more refined carbs like white bread, white rice…
Or how are you doing with vegetable intake?
Or in other words, are you ready for a diet?
Are you ready to try to cut out some foods that some experts say are perfectly healthy, when right now your still eating foods that everybody knows are not healthy?
Changing diet is ultimately a long-term lifestyle change, and it’s best done one step at a time. The first steps are, control your processed food intake and eat a lot of vegetables. Everyone agrees that these are good and healthy.

So before you try any kind of diet:

1. Minimise processed/refined foods.
(anything that came out of a factory)

2. Maximise vegetable intake

This doesn't necessarily mean completely eliminate all junk food and having 2 cups of vegetables three times a day. It means...

reducing processed food intake and increasing vegetable intake to the level that you currently right now know you should AND can be consuming.

If that means only one fizzy drink a day and one salad a day, then so be it, then fine. The point is that you are generally in control of your eating habits before trying to commit to an actual diet plan.

By the way, if you think one of the main reasons you struggle to eat healthily is because you don't know what or how to cook, you might want to look into The Man Diet.
